8purple ("8purple", "we", "us") is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers or keyboard-only navigation.

1. Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities. We treat AA as our working baseline and review against it as the site evolves.

2. Measures we take

• Semantic HTML structure with clear headings and landmark regions.
• A "skip to content" link and a visible keyboard focus indicator.
• Colour choices intended to meet AA contrast for body text and controls.
• Responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling from small phones to large monitors.
• Respect for the "reduced motion" system setting, so animations are minimized for users who prefer it.
• Descriptive link text and alternative text for meaningful images.

3. Known limitations

Some content is provided by third parties (for example embedded bot-protection widgets, vendor documents or PDFs) and may not fully meet our accessibility target. We work to identify and improve these areas over time.

4. Feedback and assistance

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, or need information in an alternative format, please tell us — your feedback helps us improve. We aim to respond within five (5) business days, and we are happy to help you get the information or complete a quote request another way.

5. Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time fix. We review new pages and components against our target and address issues as they are found. This statement will be updated as our conformance changes.
